Thursday, January 16 – Dave Rockwell, Captain of The William Scandling & The Pat II, will chat about the Hobart and William Smith Seneca Lake research vessel The Scandling.
Thursday, February 13 – Rob Whitcomb, Captain of The Pat II, will chat about the restoration of this 100-year-old vessel and its triumphant return to hosting passengers on Keuka Lake.
Thursday, March 13 – Doug Vittum, Captain of The Pat II, will chat about the history of Taylor Wine Company, sharing some of the great information and insights he provides on his sought-after Pat II tours.

With over 37 years of experience in Information Technology and a remarkable 34 years at the executive and management level, Mike has been a key driver of technological innovation and business success throughout his career.
Mike’s career spans a wealth of international and domestic experience, demonstrating his ability to manage ever-increasing responsibilities while delivering hands-on IT support, managing projects, and executing tasks that drive business growth. Mike has rapidly proven himself as a key leader, now serving as our Chief Information Officer. In this role, he oversees all aspects of technology and security, leveraging his extensive cross-industry expertise to drive strategic initiatives and support our leadership team.
He brings a unique combination of in-depth knowledge of both business processes and technology integration. His strong business acumen, combined with his dedication to continuous improvement, has played a pivotal role in the success of many company-wide initiatives. Mike has consistently delivered results as a dynamic leader, building effective teams and mentoring others toward achieving their full potential.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York, and has held various positions throughout his career, including Database Manager/Pension Analyst, Manager of Enterprise-Wide Business Systems, Director of Sales, Marketing & e-Business Solutions, Director of Business Intelligence & e-Business Solutions, Director of e-Business & Data Services, and Vice President of Information Technology.
In his role as CIO, Mike leads Bowers in its mission to innovate and enhance its technological infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of the business and its clients.
